Eddie Ruzzi (pronounced ROOD-zee) is the stage and pen name for Edmond “Eddie” Rogers. Originally from Atlantic City, New Jersey, he studied music & literature at Interlochen Arts Academy and then Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. While in college, he played drums in a band called Morning Thunder with guitar great Steve Vai. After Berklee, he moved to New York City where he wrote and performed with violin virtuoso Mark Wood before relocating to Los Angeles, California where he has performed and recorded with many musicians and bands. Eddie didn’t start writing literary art until later in his career and has since published his first book; a Science Fiction novel entitled “Death Ball”. He is currently working on a second novel as well as being involved in several screenplays. This is in addition to finishing recordings for a CD of his Band “Cast of 1000’s” which is scheduled for release in the winter of 2022. He also works as an editor and mixer for Film and TV.
